Plant & Machinery:
Spread within sprawling area of 8 acres [approx.], Mod Cera Industries is situated on National Highway 8A, Morbi. The plant matches all the parameters of any best European plant in the industry. It has many firsts to its credit viz. ISO 9001-2000 certification from QCB Neherland, Robotized storage system, neatness, flow design taking time and motion into consideration, etc. This is credited to the vision of Shri Amarshibhai and finely executed by Shri Rameshbhai and Mahadevbhai. The machinery details are as under:
Slip house: Blunger – 6nos.
Spraydryer – 110 T capacity
Press: Sacmi, Italy – 5nos.
Dryer and Biscuit Roller Kiln – Modena, China
Glaze Line: 3nos.
Printing Machine [online]: Omis, Italy – 5; Nesseti, Italy – 3; Indian – 4.
Storage System with Automatic Guided Vehicle [Robotised] – B & T, Italy
Roller Kiln [Glaze] – Poppy, Italy
Sizing and Chamfering machine- Kesinda,China
Water Jet Insert Tile Cutting Machine – Younda, China
Lab Testing Equipments – Fully equipped testing lab with all instruments [Autoclave for crazing and water absorption; MOR Machine – Tile strength testing; Glossy Meter – for gloss testing of tiles; Oven; Furnace; Hotplate; Centrifuge; Flame Photometer for sodium and potassium testing; Chemical Analysis equipments] in working condition to check the quality parameters/ standards set by QC.
 
 
AGV:
This is the latest robotic transporting system made to order as per the space and time management system.
The system takes care of transporting and storing semi finished and finished tiles automatically without human handling. The system is programmed typically for use of a specific organization. Its efficiency in handling takes care of any human error and ensures storage in the most dynamic way for ease of handling and dispatch.
 
Laboratory
Extensive quality check of raw material and finished product is carried out in Stat-of-the-art laboratory using best QC practices.
Castor Seeds
 
Spray Driver
The Spray Drier converts the semi liquid slurry to fine powder by generating heat up to 600 c. This powder is ready to be processed for next stage.
 
Hydraulic Press
The raw material in powder form is subjected to Hydraulic pressure of 1200 metric tone to get the desired shape & quality of tile.
 
AVG Storage System
We are using latest technology in our tiles manufacturing process.
 
Glaze Line
Each tile unit is subjected to glaze cooling in the Glaze Line area.
 
Roller Kiln
In the final stage, the tiles are introduced into a computerised Roller Kiln to render the final shape of the tile.
 
Control Panel
The AGV system and the movement of tiles into Roller Kiln is fully controlled from this computerised control panel.
 
Printing
Tiles are beautified by the imposition of latest designs.
 
Storage
After going through stringent quality check and packaging the finished products are systematically stored in the storage area.
